I notice the forum Yamaha has the most post by far ,than it is Polaris,Honda,Can AM and so on...... Do you think this site can be used to indicate witch brand sells the most ATVs? Or does Yamaha people just like to talk more?

Honda has been the #1 seller forever, and the lowly Rancher is the best selling quad of all time!

I do not know where you get your info? When I go riding I seem to see more Yamaha's and alot of Polaris out there compared to Honda. Maybe things are different in the dunes ,,there are not many sport bikes up here though. If I guessed the highest selling model I would guess Kodiak or Big Bears there seem to be hordes of them running around.

I too would like to see the sales numbers. Around here you don't come by many Honda's either.

Come on, this is well know info you hear all the time, unless maybe you have been deliberately trying to ignore it????

This is what I could find quickly....will post some more sources later: Feb QUAD Magazine pg. 77, since 1999 they have sold 500,000 Ranchers in the US and 100,000 overseas (that's JUST Ranchers!).

If you include the Rancher's predecessor the 300 utility, Honda has sold a cool 1,000,000 small bore utes! I think this really says something about where the "real" ATV market lies. In here, everybody obsesses endlessly about the latest bigbore flagships, yet the huge majority of the buying public out there just wants a fun to ride, great handling little trail machine.
