Default Frame Replacement

Has anyone here on the forum replaced a frame on an AC utility, i.e. 2006, 500 auto? I have a slight bend in the front right, top rear, A arm bracket. The m/c frame man said the minimum price to correct any bend is $300.00. A new frame is around $450.00 + shipping.

Everything runs and rides fine, it just bothers me and I want it perfect since I intend to own and use it for years to come. I figure if I put the two side by side and take my time with the use of a digital camera it's doable for a moderately mechanically inclined fella. Has anybody here already experience this? What were the major issues, any part that is not reuseable that I should have ahead of time etc.....?
