Default Tire & Wheel Question

Im wanting more top end out of my EX. I was thinking smaller rear sprocket but now im thinking 10" wheels and 22" tires? I was wondering if u guys think this was a good or bad idea. b/c i dont want to lose alot of low end b/c i love to wheelie.

Default Tire & Wheel Question

The 22' tires wont really sacrifice too much low end power. I also love to wheelie, thats definately my favorite thing to do. I would stick with 20' tires. Do you have any mods on ur 400ex? If you do not have mods I would not go down a tooth in the back becuase you will sacrifice more low end than changing the tires. If you do have mods, like a filter and a pipe or some combination, I would just go up a tooth in the front (a little cheaper than the rear sprocket) That should give you what your looking for.

Just my 2 cents

thanks alot. and yes i have alot of mods on my EX. it has the 460 stroker kit so it has a lil bit too much low end b/c i can bearly out run the modded z400s and yes i think i will go with the 1 tooth bigger in the front and leave my 20" tires on.
