When you guys installed your skids, did you use foam around the edges to keep them from rattling? Or is this not an issue with skids? I'm looking to purchase the A-arms, belly, and swingarm skids and just wanted to know. Thanks.

We purchased 2 skid plates from PRM. The plates from PRM are thicker than the competitions (.250 vs .190).

The Recon had a rattle. We unistalled the plate & put some foam insulation on its & reinstalled the plate. The rattle is almost gone.

The foam insulation is the kind that is when mountina a camper shell on a truck. The foam goes between the truck and the shell and is sticky on one side.

The Rancher had no rattle at all on the skid plate. I have CV joint protectors, same as A-arm protectors, no rattle there either.
