I got back from riding today and started washing off my wheeler, when i noticed there is one lug nut missing on one wheel and 2 missing on another. I was sure I tightened the lugnuts plenty tight when i installed the new ITP wheels. I even tightened apposing nuts when puting them on and went back repeatedly to make sure they were all tight in the end.

Has anyone else lost their nuts before?

Oh yeah, and the braket for my winch control broke too, just from too much vibration I guess, or really crappy bolts.

 

No but if they do hurry and pick em up so you dont get dirt in em,i hear somewheres a doctor can put em back!and if your a female your s.o.l.!

 

yah...mine flew off once and I didn't even know till someone said hey aren't you missing a nut and I was like WOE! I GUESS I AM MISSING A NUT......anyway I limped back home and had the hardest time finding one that matched. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I got a buddy who's wife carries his for him. In fact I have never seen her without 'em... He's lucky.

 

My wife once got mad and overtightened one of my nuts, stripped it and it fell off.

My wife likes nuts on her ice-cream........I will go check there for them!!!!!!!

As for your wheel nuts falling off.......When you installed the new wheels or tires, were your studs too short?..........Caper...........

got your attention, but seriously, has this happened to anyone else and do you think lock-tight would help?

I have more nut on the way encase I have trouble holding onto them in the future.
