would you guys know any kind of ball park figure that i would get for trading in my 99 400EX (good condition, mildly modded) for a 450R?
the salesman said the 450Rs are goin for $6,495, is that way too much?

I bought my 2005 450R for 4700 inculding (I had to beat them down a lot) free Fox Tracer riding boots ($125 value )
plus I had DG nerbars and full underbody DG skid plates...I dont know what year ur looking for so im not sure if this helps you at all but for a 2007 R 6,500 is not over priced.....Make sure to hagel [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

no reverse on the 450r also your not going to get much for your 99 400ex. I went to trade in my 05 raptor 350 with mods below, barely any scratches and they said $2000 and I was like no.

 

Clean that 400 up nice and sell it yourself. That is the only way you will see any decent money for it. Most dealerships really don't want your older trade in.

 

if you cant get much $ for it just ride it til it drops...that is if you dont need the $ for the new bike !

 

I tried to trade in my 2004 crf 230 and they would only give me about $1200 when the bike is worth like $2000. Even the guy at the dealer told to sell it my self, cuz if they buy it at a regular price then they wont make any money out of it, so they try to rip u off. I would put the 400 on Ebay or sell it ur self some how. For a 99 400 you would probably get nothing from a dealer since ppl usually buy brand new quads at a dealer.

If its an 07 or 06 yes thats a preety good price in PA also depends if its electric start or kick. a kick start iss cheaper.
