Just got off the phone with Donita Ross (Jeff Ross's wife) Here are a few things that was told to me by her.

Utility class was won by: Donita Ross, Outy 800, time was 5.04 with reaction time of .90....... So she was moving!!!

Drakesters bike was launching hard!!! It actually beat Jeff Ross's Dune bike....And we know that his bike is fast!

Also was on the phone with Eric. He said that Guy's bike ran a 4.0 with Randall on it. They were having trouble with shifting

I will keep everyone posted as I find out.

Wish I was there having as much fun as they are!

Dang a 5.04 from a outlander!!!! that is quick. 4.0 shifting is a awesome time as well. Sounds like everyone is running strong.

Thanks for the update.

I just got off the phone with cc1999 and spoke to Jeff and Danita a little bit ago.

Danita on her Outlander won the Utility class with a 5.04 (as James already stated).

cc1999 got 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. His Kawasaki ran a 5.4 for second place, and his piped Outlander got third, with his stock Renegade coming in fourth.

Im told there was another Outlander that was also very competitive.

Good job to everyone

Well, another day of test & tune in the books.

The Spiderbike will stay on the trailer tomorrow....after the passes I made on Drakesters beast this evening. I have never in my life rode a bike with such power. We are talking about a 650, 12.5:1 compression, single carbed motor in an oem chassis carrying the front wheels to the 250ft mark with 81 rollout 16 paddle staggered extremes. Extremely impressive is an understatement.

As Dunedevil has stated, Fast69's drag chassis bike is nothing less than amazing. To say the least.

Guys, the DS community should be well represented tomorrow during the official races.

We annihilated a 1000cc streetbike conversion on a drag chassis this evening with Drakesters bike. We are thoroughly impressed by the performance of this bike.

More tomorrow.

You rode The Bom's drag bike on NOS at Planet Sand last year. That is amazing that Drake's bike runs harder than that.

I take it by the sounds of the times that the track has been fitted with guard beams? I sure wish I could have worked it out to come.......

There are no guard beams in place.

THEBOM'S drag bike was running a +11 swingarm at Planetsand last year, therefore we couldnt hook it up.

Drakesters bike weighs a "few" pounds more than THEBOM'S drag bike even though its an OEM chassis and it utilizing a +4 swingarm to get the power to the ground.

In other words, Drakersters bike is using every bit of the hp its making right now.

We are impressed, to say the least.

Scott's ATV Raptor still hasnt ran so Im sure he will be a handful on the bottle.

Finishline Racing had their OEM bikes out late yesterday evening but we havent seen the drag frame yfz's or the raptor yet.

TSS made a few passes with their CRF that weighs less than 200lbs and it was getting it done.

Needless to say, today will be a very very interesting day.

Im headed out the door to do my share.

More later.

Sounds like everyone is running hard!
Scott, Jeff and Donita have fun down there.

I need to make this trip (as a spectator) one year.
