I want to know how much my ds250 is worth because i smashed my front-right fender, and now i have to replace the entire front section of plastic, but i know that it's just going to break anyway in a while if i replace it. So if i replace the plastic for 150$-200$ or something like that, i would like to get a good price for it.

I really do not want to sell it for less than 3800$$ CDN since i bought it for 4800$$ and then i added nerf bars for 300$$ and then new plastic would cost around 200$$, That means i would lose about 1500$$ off what i paid for it. It's in ok condition, the back fenders have a crease/slight-fold in them and some scratches (quite a bit actually)

My friend who sold his honda crf230f lost about 1200$$ on it after about 6 months but thats a honda and they keep their value better than a taiwan-made can-am a.k.a. SYM quad.

But if i cant sell it, i would probably get a +4 axle from durablu and wheelspacers if i can find some

So i'm also kind of debating whether to sell it and get an 03 or 04 predator or yfz or if i should keep the ds250 and put 500$$ into it to make it handle better so i dont hurt myself again.

 

actually, because of the sh*tty suspension, my ds250 has also costed an extra 1500$$ in dental crap, now thats frustrating. I wonder if the polaris 250 TB would have been a smoother jumper with 8 and 10 inches travel in the front and rear respectively.

That's also why i want to get a predator or a yfz, they have the best suspension for their pricetag.

 

If you can snap a pic with your camera phone and I'll take a look at my NADA to see what it says. You might wind up around that loss on the machine. My figures will be in US $ since that's where I'm at. Either way I look into it and give you some feed back.
