I got this 1985 trx 125 from a buddy said that was a running machine till it quit sparking. i changed the stator and it has a nice blue spark on it now, but it still doesn't run. i already took off the carb and sprayed carb cleaner through all the jets and valves.

i was given this machine so i didn't know what kind of abuse it was put through and after i did see i had low compression after adjusting the valves i went to change the rings and noticed the head of the valve was dented preventing it to ever completely close. so ordered a new valve and hoping thats all

DOUBLE CHECK the valve guides they might be damaged by the leverage of the valve being bent.
New valves, valve guides, and the seats will need to be reground and valve seat lapped.
Better to be safe than sorry. Or just make sure the other valve moves OK.
I bet it is the exhaust valve that is bent.

there not bent theres a dent in the head. looks like there was to long of a spark plug in there though because it looks like it opened hit the spark plug and was to dented to ever close
