Hello, I just bought a honda big red and right on top kinda by the pull start there is some kind of oil fill its capped by a big flat head srew. Its not the motor oil fill because thats on the other side with the little dip stick so can anyone tell me what goes in that one? Tranny oil maybe? Thanks!!!!!

 

Nothing goes in there. That's the timing mark inspection hole. The flywheel and stator coil are in there.

 

Hey thanks, that makes sense now but what i couldnt figure out was that there was oil on the backside of that flat head plug

 

There should not be oil in there. There is a seal between the inner case and the flywheel. Pull off the pull starter and take a closer look. If there is a good amount of oil in there you will want to get a flywheel puller, remove the flywheel, and replace the seal.
