One of the people that I ride with is heavier - about 330 lbs, with a 46" waist. They want to buy a chest protector, but I haven't found anything over an XL. I read that there WAS a company called PhatCatt.com, but it appears as though they have gone out of business.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find at least an XXL chest protector (prefer a 3XL, though)? Or does anyone who has been more blessed themselves have any input on whether it is even possible to use the XL chest protectors?

Yes.... sort of

Fox makes and Airframe one that is XL, but it should fit you no problem. It is big enough for me and I'm probably bigger than you are. They rate it up to 300lbs but it is pretty big....

There are a couple others too, I think MSR, Moose and Acerbis both make an XL version, but the Fox is by far the best. I generally don't like Fox gear, I usually prefer Thor, but the Fox Airframe chest protector is a nice piece of equipment.

I've tried some of the other XL's on, but they are not as big as the Fox .......

Hi are you sure a XL would fit a guy that size? I am pretty big and would like to buy one. Are these adjustable?

I wear a XXL Fox Racing Jersey. will the XL Chest protector fit?

A Fox XXL jersey is way too small for me.... I need a Moose 4X and the Fox XL Air Frame fits me just fine..... in fact it is not even tight or small but roomy and more comfortable then the XXXL football shoulder pads I have.
