ok i was going to buy 450r front shocks but then everyone said yfz450 shocks were softer and would fit. now is this true or not? thanks in advance

what are you going to put the shocks on?

 

My 400ex

 

yfz shocks are to short.... 450r shocks fit fine... if you adjust them you should be fine.... if not they sell lighter springs for the shocks.. I have a pair with the lighter springs on my 400 and its great one of the best things i could have done....

both are going to be stiffer than the 400ex shocks

 

YFz shocks are shorter than the 450r.. it will squat your front end down... i have put them on my bike...
