generic question
#1
i noticed that their is alot of generic quads out now, kinda makes a man sick. to think that a two bit factory quad could match honda, yamaha, etc. wow its a real kick. but i was told that their are a few generic brands that hold up, i was just hopeing someone could tell me some. reason being i bad mouth generic quads all the time, but last week my freinds recon 250 got outran by one, i wasnt there, he didnt get the name but he described it to me and i looked around on the net for it, i think it was a rocheta 250, my freinds pretty handy with his quad but he got outran buy this thing. i was wondering if mabye their is some generic no name quads that are worth the money you pay for them...

Getting "outrun" means absolutely nothing. Maybe the guy who outran him had to go home that night and rebuild his top end....you have no way of knowing....
The Recon is a time proven machine that will run absolutely forever with just a minimal amount of maintenance. Five years from now, ask the guy on that other machine if he can say the same thing.....only time will tell....
All my friends who have bought "off brand" machines have lived to regret it!
