I made a bad decision buying my POL 500 07. I did not do enough research. Followed my bud's lead's. they ride pol and have been okay. Mine I am not happy with: see other post. I like grizz 700, 660, 700 king quad and brute 650I and possibly 750I. They all have good and bad quality's. I mainly trail ride, ride some mud not deep, some snow, not deep, mainly logging roads, fire trails in WV. No elevation issues, maybe 2200 ft above sea level at most. We ride on about 2000 acre's of great deer hunting property which pose's a little bit of everything, any help would be greatly appreciated. I want something with good low end, that handle's well. I know it's along thread, need to go the right way. The wife is about to go nut's with me. Thank's

well i am no expert, but i just got a 06 650i. i rode a polaris 500 ho, and a king quad 700 before i made my purchase. to the average user, which is where you and i fit it, they all ride pretty much the same. i know someone is going to come in here and say the king quad is a better riding machine, and it may be for them. But i like the low end power, and nothing matched the brute force 650i. I have never heard of anyone saying anything different or even challanging that fact. Also they all go fast, way over 60, but i never go over 40. so that was not a factor in my decision making. i only have 3 hours on my brute but 3 hours were spent smiling from ear to ear. Amazing power and great quad for the woods, water, snow, hunting.

Depends on the main riding you will do. The Arctic Cat does everything i need very well. I ride rough terrain, i camp, hunt, fish, and do the occasional mud holes. The speedracks attach any gear quickly and i can pack days worth on the machine, and unhook it in minutes. My buddy is trading in his sp700 for a Cat right now. He is very unhappy, I think he got a lemon, but it ruined his faith in Polaris
