Default throttle cable lube

I just got a new throttle cable for my 46hv and was wondering what kind of lube to put on it, if any? Do you guys usually use some sort of penetrating oil or a graphite lube.

Thanks, I didn't want to waist money on some special lube if it wasn't necessary.

I use Cable Life ( I think that what it is called), Comes with the special tool for getting the lube into the cable.

Very good, it basically directs the lube down the cable. I find it works even better if one end of the cable is off and it can be held up in the air, so that the lube flows down !!!

Im just curious as to how well it does compared to wd40 or jb80 when used in the same manner.

I have not used JB80 before, but i do think it works better then WD40. I found WD40 works good but does not stay around long to do the job. Other wise I had to lube my throttle cable at least twice as often with WD40 compared to cable life.
