We will be leaving northern IL June first and heading out west. We are riding in moab, utah for two days and then we will be at LS utah for I believe the 3rd-6th (maybe 4th-7th?) any DS guys plan to be there then? I usually dont see ds' out there when we go (or a few with riders that are not very sociable!) so i was hoping to see some forum members this time!

 

roost some friends and i are talking going that week but not for sure. i mention of going to ls utah for a couple days then going to st athony for a couple days.

What's the "flatlander trip?" What are the specifics?

 

A bunch of guys from the east Hightower for one comes out east once a year they take turns each year going to either Utah or Idaho. This year is Idaho.

We are all staying at Desert Oasis in the dry camp area the 13th-19th.

That is a trip I would definitely love to join in on. Is the Oasis a campground where you have to have reservations? It seems like one of the posts was saying that you have to reserve a spot anywhere you go out there. Is that right? Is it possible to go out there and not find a spot to park? I have a motorhome. How many ds guys do you think will go?
But yeah, keep us updated on what the plans are for this trip. I've heard that St. A is the ultimate.

If ya come in on Friday afternoon you will almost always be able to get a spot at Oasis in June with out a problem. Let us know when your coming, there is usually someone from around here that will be down ridding that could un-officially save you a spot[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
