WELL hey guys i know this isnt a kawi fourm but they wont help me out....i would like to just check some thing out about the secondary on mi moms kawi p360 i need to shim the thing and wasnt quite sure how to do it if its any thing like a snosled driven clutch im pretty sure its easy and i know u have to pop a c clip off the back side to relase the helix and then pull the spring out and seprat the backing of the clutch and than put the shim down on the base of that shaft and repeat the steps backward for reinstalation?? am i close or is there anything i for got and or should know befor i do this??? any help would be awsome

why are you shimming the secondary?

 

belts to tight and its squeels when u punch it from a dead stand still and it was action like it did the last time we had to shime it which was 3 years ago

 

well somethings making the belt tighten up if thats the case. engine loose. i had a belt shrink form being hot and getting it wet a few times. i just took a look at it and its way differnt that ive seen and wouldnt know unless i saw it.

 

i havnt really looked at it to closely i havent had a chance to clean out hte back shead enought to pull it in to work on it and look at things but hopefully next weekend i can......after drivers ed i dont think the motors loose and ithink it could use a new belt but i havent looked at it closely enough yet but i cant belive no one eles in the kawi fourm could reply back to me about it,...kinda ticked me off
