04 outlander 400 4x4 cooling fan not working

on our last ride my wife pointed out her temp warning light was on. i also noticed her fan was not engaging at all.
has anyone else had this issue

Is the thermostat opening and you can also test the fan and if it does work tie it into a switch so you can turn it on manually also.

1. check fuses 2. connections. 3. relay
