For those of you who care or are interested the title says it all. I raced my cousin a couple of days ago on pavement it was about a 1/6 of a mile or so. Off the start I took him by 10 feet then he started to pull me in 3rd and 4th gear by a car length by the time he hit 5th I was neck and neck with him. At the finish line I was several car lengths ahead of him. We both could not believe how fast my outy is (I would have bet pink slips he would have killed me in that race). His wife took several pics of me beating him and as soon as they email them to me I will post them. So much for the YFZ being the fasted quad on the market huh! By the way my quad is the max xt version.

 

same with me, I have the 800 XT and i think the only thing that will beat it is the 700 Raptor (havent raced it yet) I have bet a 05 honda trx450 and a new yzf450 se1 amd my ds 650 baja. I keeps up with a 05 400 Suzuki, piped, K&N power kit. Got it up to 125 km/h. The quad is insane.

 

i don't know about that i put my bother inlaw on my ds 650 and he beet my outy 800xt ever time by about 5to6 quads ant that happen every time.

 

well, maybe you r right. It was on pavement and i still have my studded tires on the ds........maybe it would

 

yeah my wife (big like me too) with our 8 year old on the back was racing 2 strokes and 4 strokes at Pismo and beating them no problems.

Pretty funny.

 

wow that seems pretty crazy. He obviously didnt get a good start if you beat him by 10 feet off the start. Thats sweet though, were you in 4x4 or just 2wd?

I'm gunna have to race my uncle on his 650xt vs my dvx and see how it goes.

 

Not sure about top speed but, I read a post a few days back about a DS setting a new drag record. I believe they are the<u>quickest</u> machine out there.

it my have a good motor but it is get old and the ds it needs sum work like a stage 2
