Default buying a predator

i have decided to buy a used preadator and was wondering what years to look for and watch out for after reading revews im thinking i should get a 2005 or newer, all comments welcome and thank you.

I like my '04. But I would definetly avoid an '03, as this was the first year.

Avoid the 03's......you might get lucky(like me) and have a good one.....but not worth the chance. The 04's are ok, but don't have reverse. They just keep getting better with time....so purchase what you can afford.

so did they fix the suspention in 2005 because from what i understand 03' & 04's have a hevey feeling front end, is this true?

03's had a longer swing arm.......04 and up, have the shorter swing arm.....and wheelie just fine.


As far as actual suspension(shocks)........it still, only gets better as you go up the years.
