Default no awd......help needed !!

i have an 01 sp500. the switches on the trans are bad therfore i have no awd. yes everything on my speedo works fine. i have no indicator lights f/n/r. i removed switches to inspect and the plastic piece that works the switch is broken on both swithes. i dont want to spend the 120 bucks for new switches. can i bypass and manually enguage awd ? i have read about splicing wires together to bypass. thnaks

Default no awd......help needed !!

found another way to do it. since my speedo functions correctly and i dont want to mess with it i figured out witch two wires send the signal that im in forward from the switch to the pod and spliced them together now the thing thinks its in forward all the time. speedo still works awd works and there is no reverse limiter when in reverse ...
