I have a 2000 Blaster with a FMF Fatty , Powercore 2 silencer, K&N Filter, Holeshot XC's all around, Boyesen Rad Valve, 14 tooth Front Sprocket vs 300ex with a White Bros.Pipe, K&N Filter and jet kit. Will my Blaster be faster I think so. Thanks

Well I will Find out on Christmas Day because that is when we are going to race. Because he doesnt got all of those mods right now it is stock but he will get them for Christmas. Thanks for replying.

 

sorry man on trails he will smoke you (if he knows how to ride) In a stright line drag race you 2 will be about even. I ride with a blaster everyday w/about the same mods as you and up until i did engine work we were even every where except the woods and that was only b/c of my 300 being a little better at handling than his blaster.

 

I have stock 87 250X and i met somebody with a piped blaster. We raced on a staight drag and he was about a foot away from beating me. one time we tied

 

drag race you should be faster than him if you get a good start

the machines stock only have about a 3 mph differnce in top speed

 

there a faste bike. but if u get someone a little heavy on a blaster they slow down alot and i mean alot. 300ex have extremely superb handling

 

I used to have a 88 blaster with a 240 bore kit. FMF fatty pipe and a power core silencer. it also had turf tammer rears and a uni filter. I sold it to my friend and bought a a 99 300ex the only mods i got are k&n fitler and jet kit. ohtsu mr rears and a fmf megamax pipe and silencer. a couple weeks ago i got him to drag me at a riding place. from the start to second gear we are dead even. about half way through 3rd gear i start to pull away and just keep goin by.
