You got it, no pull start on the 600, 700, or 800, except for the MV7.

I bought a friend a pair of those tiny jumper cables he wanted recently. Never thought we would need them but we did! He had an electrical problem caused by a bad dealer repair (Kosco HD/Polaris ). We had to "charge" his battery every 1/2 hour or so with my bike. This has something to do with the "Electonic Fuel Injection." Without a fully charged battery it won't run anyway even if you were able to pull start it. I guess a pull start would be usefull for other breakdowns like bad a bad starter but it wouldn't have helped in this situation... The cables on ebay are well made and come with their own case...

I got a set of those jumpers too. I got them when I had the 800, but still carry them, even though I though I have a pull start. You can modify the twins to have the pull start. I looked into it when I had the 800, I think the cost was about $350, buying all new parts!

You must have a auto decompression. My 350 Big Bear was way harder to pull over than my 500 with a decompression. My friends 660 Grizzly took both of us to pull it over, once a engine gets to a certain size they should all have a decompression or just not bother putting on a pull start.

Pulls seem easier to use if you use them once in a while.
I try to yank it a couple times every ride....
