hey, im working on a 250x that has been sitting for three years trying to bring it back to life. I got the thing started and all of a sudden it died and wouldnt start. after about ten more minutes of kicking trying to start it i grabbed hold of the coil wire hoping to get shocked and nothing. i noticed that the coil is being held on to the frame by about a 1/4 inch of rust wich used to be a weld, probably not sufficient for a solid ground and since then has cracked completely off. I have tried to rig it and run a wire from the coil to the frame in a different spot to produce ground but i just cant get the thing to spark at all. what can i do to test the coil? cdi? wires? ground? any help would be greatly appreciatted.
