Battery Maintainers/tenders
#2
battery tenders are the best thing since the invention of the battery, i have a fleet of deltran battery tenders, they make the battery last forever since the battery charge 100% all the time, never a surprize with a dead battery, if you own anything with a battery and it sits for more than a couple of days i highly recommed buying and using a battery tender, the deltran comes with a wiring harness thats easly installed, then all their is to use it is to plug or unplug the connectors.

Yes they are a must have item if you want to keep your battery in good shape , and want it to last i bought one years ago at sams club ; it was a very good brand name charger made for motocycle/atv's and riding lawnmower's. it's a small sized charger 6/12 volts with a dual charge range 1amp/2amp with auto shutoff so as not to over charge the battery , i think i only payed $19.97 + Tax well worth the money just one battery replacement will pay for itself alone ; so i would get one for sure ! williebee

Thanks... I bought on last night and hooked it up... After about 10min.. I could hear the acid starting to bubble inside the battery.... Just wondering if that was normal??? I got my batter maintainer from sears... I paid $19.99... Walmart has 2 different brands for $18.. I'm going to buy another one tonight for my sons atv....

Battery tendere makes a multi-port model for "fleet" usage, check it out:
Battery Tender 4 bank model
Just install pig tail connectors on the bikes, and plug some or all in. Each bank is monitored seperately.
