IN THE BIKE ALREADY

I have an 01 ds 650 with woods racing rev box, woods racing full exhaust, tm45 carb with excelerator pump, ported larger intake manifold, k&n filter.

MODS TO COME THIS WEEK.

720 KIT FROM JE
INCLUDES 105MM SLEEVE, 11:5:1 PISTON, RINGS, CIRCLIPS, RIST PIN, GASKET SET.

WEB CAMS 110 GRING AND DUAL VALVE SPRINGS WITH TITANIUM SHIMS AND RETAINERS.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY RECOMMENDATIONS OR COMMENTS IM ALL EARS.

Sounds like you have a good start, just don't drop the cam chain into the case, it can be a real b!tch getting it back.

Also get a service manual, it will help with the cam timming and finding tdc

 

It looks like you are on the right track but i would also consider the following.Port work by a competent mechanic experienced with a DS head.Proper fuel for your motor and compression.Lightened hubs and 520 chain and sprockets.Correct gearing is very important and often overlooked so play with that as well.
