Default Warrior air filter

I have a stock air filter and carb on my warrior. I am going to buy the HMF exhaust later on. I was wondering what air filter and jet kit to get 1st. I was looking at this kit

Will this be fine or is there something better. Which is the best air filter and jet kit to get. Thanks.

In my view, the best thing you can do is buy an air filter kit that converts the air box to take a clamp on air filter. Noss Machine sells one call the "Super Flow Airbox Kit for Warrior" $70 with foam or $85 with an K&N. Pro Design calls theirs a "Pro-Flow Filter Kit" $99 for Foam $110 with an K&N. With the jets and filter oil it comes out to cost more but its worth it. Just my 10 cents.

this is how i have my warrior set up with the stock airbox cut. this is temporary, however. get the clamp on pro flow style, just be sure that you buy an outerwears if you ride in wet/dusty conditions, and be wary of sucking water into the carb. if it happens, a quick drain of the carb bowl and stand the quad on the grab bar for a few minutes gets her running good again. just my 15 cents.

will there be a noticable power increase with the k&n air filter and jet kit on a warrior? I will be now buying the clamp on style air filter with outerwear because i ride in wet n muddy trails.

Is this the same thing as the noss machine and the pro design

that kit should do you good, and yes you will notice a gain in power and throttle response. in my opinion, i would wait until you get the HMF to install the filter/ jetkit. that way you only have to rejet the quad once as opposed to rejetting with the filter mod, then again with the exhaust.
