had the bike out today doing some shooting on my neighbors farm, running it back and forth between shots and after a few times back and forth it stalled after coming to a stop and would not start back up. we proceeded to push it back towards the house and tried starting it about halfway through and it started back up so i drove it a little and then when i came to a stop again it stalled. once again, it did not want to start. im going to try all the basics first; fuel filter, spark plug, change oil, etc. just wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions/things to look for. Thanks,

Dan

Check the gas tank vent line.

Next time it happens, crack the fuel cap open and see if it starts then. If so go at the vent. Doc

well first problem is i killed the battery, so we were pull starting it that day. ill be picking up a new battery this week...any suggestions for a good battery or should i just get one at the dealer? i didnt think to check the gas tank vent line but i will check that out today. i will also try to see if its getting spark today. also is there a good website or online dealer i can get parts from cheaper? the prices at my local dealer are ridiculous...i would assume most of them are like that as well. thanks for all the help.

walmart has very resonable prices on batteries. i have 2 of them purchased approximately 2-3 years ago for my jet ski's. ive had no problems with them. i do keep them charged and maintained during winter months when ski's are not in use. walmart has a large selection of batteries for all atv types at great prices.
