I think it is time for a new battery for my 2001 raptor 660. And I was wondering if there is a better replacement than OEM. Lately it will crank slowly after setting for a few days. And if I hook it up to the charger it will fire right up.

 

The Yamaha Grizzly's battery will fit with a little work, it's got a bit more cranking power.

The oddessy pc 535 or something like that is a popular replacement here, they're found on ebay. A good AGM gel battery replacement from a respectable company will do everything you need to do and be a lot easier to maintain and store IMO.

 

I now buy my batteries from good old Wal-Mart. It doesn't matter how old the battery is (they never mark of the date thingy on top) you can return it and get a new shiny one!
