does any body have info on bending rims /pitman arm/tie rod /universal joint/and possibly axel i,m thinking my axel is bent my bike sits slightly off to the left side after i took i nice hit on a rock thanks

 

If the axle is bent you'll know it because it'll wobble and shake when it spins. If it looks like the whole quad is sitting at an angle start looking over everything closely. Usually when something bends the paint will crack at the stress points.

What kind of bike is it anyways?

 

sorry but read the title....check your subframe, axle, wheels, steering stem and all the front suspension

 

it's a 660 rappy 05 and i never thought about the cracked paint better go over it . i did run the whell up in the air on a jack and did not see the wheel whobbling ,need to get one more inner steering joint and take it out then i will no for sure thanks .

 

ok here is the deal i blew the left tire right off the rim dented the rim so bad that it would not spin past the break caliper. After closer inspection i saw that my right rear tire and rim was warped like an egg shape. the left tie rod left side of the pitmen arm and the inner universal joint took a pounding and came up bent . to much fun yeah baby p.s. sorry about my spelling in the last post

 

What do you mean by universal joint? You mean ball joint? Universal joints are on drive shafts and stuff like that. That's why I asked what kind of bike it was.

 

yes ball joint not that they have a full ball in them but yes yamaha calls them universal tie rod ends of coures all the bikes honda kawi and all the rest use the same things cool deal

 

What did you do to cause this much damage? Did it fall off a truck doing 80? I hate to say it, but seeing that you have that much damage you know of already, most likely your frame is twisted.
