Default wolvy with no power

well i recently rebuilt my carb and i believe it to have all the right settings. i also adjusted my valves while i had the fuel tank off. after putting everything back together and taking a test ride i noticed that it is lacking a lot of power and wants to cut out at full throttle. any suggestions for a repair. by the way it is a 95 wolverine 350. thanks *****
