I just bought a Redcat 150 for my son and very happy with it. But it stalls out alot when going full speed or slowing down from full speed. Does anyone have a possible solution for this? i would appriciate any input.

 

Yes look at my how too carb tuning post. Sounds like you need to tune the carb better.

That is great advice!! Wish i read that before he rode it for the day!! Well i will play with it some more any more tips on getting it runninng full speed. the kid loves the thing just wish it would run better for him. Im not really a small engine guy and was thinking of bringing to a lawn mower place near our house but it dosent do it's "trick" till you run it full speed in the feild. Runs great in the garage!! Well i guess i have a new hobby now. And i really want to get one for myself now. We have snowmobiles running though our yard all the time but it seems like you will get more use out of and atv than a snowmobile, Around here its like 2 and a half months for the sleds. I want to get this thing fined tuned then look for one for me. Was buying chineses a big mistake or does it just take patiance? My son is 11 now and the thing fits him perfect, fast enough but not too fast. I want to get this thing running good for the both of us!! What a blast! Any tips are would be really good.

 

put a ngk plug in it too.
