hey guys im looking at the wiring diagram for my 06 wolverine and some colors are g/L or w/L ,what does the L stand for?

 

I'm betting the "L" is for lighting. See if you can trace the wire.
Also check the wireing diagram for a legend.

 

lighting?i dont understand.a legend for what?i know that what im looking for is a way to remove my reverse limiter and my reverse switch and reverse indicator light run to the cdi box.okay the reverse switch is g/w guessing green/white wire correct?also the reverse light is g/L guessing green/lighted circuit?

 

Without seeing it in the bike that's my guess.
Now that I think of it, my 02 volusia has some wires where the "L" stands for lavender.
The L would be for the tracer (stripe) color on the wire.
I know I'm getting old when they start using THOSE colors for wires.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

well in the checking a switch procedure it show br/L and it states brown/blue wire so i think L is blue as in blue stripe in brown wire

 

Your right. Just checked my 07 automotive wiring codes and they have done away with using BL for the tracer and gone to L. Guess I have to get myself updated again. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

yes L is blue i confrimed it on the wolvy wiring harness
