Anyone ever refit the pretty pathetic shock on the rear for something off a 50cc real MX bike? I have found that the shock off a KTM 50 will bolt right up. Like this one:

They have SEVEN inches of travel instead of 3-4.

The spring is also adjustable...ad other strength springs are available. I am sure a little playing around would be in order...but seems like a good deal. You can get them all the time on parted out bikes for $50-75.

Is this a bad idea?
