Default Need advise on some tires

I have an 89 Big Bear 350 that I have just got running (It has been sitting up for 3 years and needed a little TLC) that the tires on are dry rotten and I am needing to get some new tires and was looking for a little advise. The stock tires are 25's and I was thinking about putting some 26' swamp lites on it. Does anyone have a recommendation?

What kind of riding are you planning on doing?

18 year old machine..lives again! Best Quad ever!
I like the look of the Swamplites. Haven't heard anything about how good they are though.

I would recommend Mudlites or Bearclaws depending on riding conditions.

Well swamp lites or Mud Lites are what I was torn between. I want the set that is "How do say" the lesser agressive tire. Most of my riding is at the deer camp but about once or twice a month we do some trail/mud riding and my Rancher with stock tires usualy gets stuck/bottoms out in the ruts. The biggest concern I have is how well the Big Bear will turn 26" Tires. I am thinking it should do OK if I put it in low range when hitting the mud.

I've had both the Mudlites and I now have the Swamplites and I like the Swamplites better. The are alot taller and a tad less agressive during trail riding which leads to better steering and I haven't lost a step in the mud. Try www.mudthrowers.com for your size. You'll love the Swamplites however alot of guys warned me that if you ride a lot of paved roads, they will wear fast.
Good luck!
