I was reading a review about the new 07 raptors. Special edition raptors to be exact. The article said the new special edition had piggyback shocks and that you could adjust them, he said they would no fade out as easily as the standard edition. So what I am asking basically is do the raptor shocks give out quickly? Or do shocks give out quickly in general? How much are stock shocks for a raptor?

you can look up OEM parts here

http://www.powersedge.net/pages/part.../2/yamaha.aspx

don't worry about the shocks, they will last for years unless you abuse the bike, like jumping a lot..even still I bet they can handle lots of hours of some good abuse..

Man if you brake anything you can just order it from them? Why do they have all the parts? Do they order them from the manufactures themselves?

yes most dealers can order any part,I like that place because even with shipping they are cheaper then the dealers around here..Most dealer sites will have their own OEM parts list also check out the prices in your local area..But with the mass quanity of parts, even dealers need to order them for you

Powersedge has a lot of good after-market parts also..

also just a thought,if you ride a lot of sand I think you can buy covers for your shocks to help protect the seals..
