Default Grizzly with no fire- HELP!

I have a 2000 or 01 Grizzly 600. It's not getting any fire @ the spark plug. I have order a professional shop manual for it but have not received it yet. This scooter has got me irritated cause I can't figure it out.
I was chasing some calves that went thru the neighbors fence and ran the dern thing out of gas..... Hoofed it up to the barn and got a gas can, put gas in it and then the freakin battery died, it was weak anyway. Pulled it back to the barn with my tractor and parked it. The next week, got new battery, (must have golden cells in it), all new filters, oil change, new plug and changed it all. Turned the key on, it ran like a new ATV. Rode it to check the cows, no problems, Brought it back to the barn and parked it for a few days, went to start it....... would'nt start. I thought maybe a rat chewed a wire into but all looks intact. No blown fuses, (only 2 10amp under seat), taken all plug connections apart an cleaned.... Spark plug looks good, I'm lost. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Default Grizzly with no fire- HELP!

i had that problem a few times. here is what i would do
first do you have main power; you lights come on? that will tell you if batter or bad batter connection
next, i would take out my spark plug and connect it to the wire and try to start it,, look for a little spark at the end,, do not do it in the sun,, should be in a shaded/dark area? that will tell you if you are getting power to your plug.
if you do get power to you plug,, i would put it back and spray Carb cleaner into my intake (NOT FLILTER) as i tried to start it do see if it starts? if it does,, then you have a fuel problem. then check your fuel shout off valve or filter.
hope that helps

still no fire?
did you take your spark plug out and connect it to the wire? did you see any arching or spark at the end of it? make sure the lighting is dim so you can see the spark. or you can always touch it to feel for it.
but if you have no spark, then i would start there and work your way back. sounds more electrical now. maybe you bought a bad spark plug? i think it is called an ingition box, it feeds the carb wire, i would start there. if you have power in and none coming out when you try to crank it, i think that might be it. but maybe some senior guys here can correct me. i had the same issue on my wifes warroir, but i found alot of dirt in the spark plug wire and boot, also it had a poor electrial connection. i cleaned it really good and striped back some more wire for better contact and ran great after that.
