First try charging your battery, if they are low but not dead they will make that clicking sound.
You could of used the last of power to start it the first time and since you didnt run it long, it didnt have enough juice for another start.
Start there anyway

ok thanks all give that a try, hmm wonder who i know that has a charger lol, all find one, yeh its just one click
this is wat happens exactly:
Figner hits button
Solenoid goes TICK
then nothing
i also tried crossign the solenoid, like putting a peace of metal from the positive to the negative leads on the solenoid, this usualy works, but it does nothing at all, if i connect a wire to the positive lead that connects to the solenoid and touch the black lead on battery it sparks(like it should) but if i put a wire on black lead that connects to solenoif and touch the red lead, nothing happens, im stumped, lol all try charging battery

Make sure your wires on the battery are tight and free of corrosion. Every time my bikes made a tick sound thats what it was.
