Questions for you Renegade guys
#1
I have a few questions for you guys about the Renegade in the sand. My father-in-law is looking at buying one for this weekend trip to St.Anthony's. He has a pretty nice Rhino but want's something else to play on. He used to ride a KFX 700 in the dunes.
How does the Renegade do in the sand compared to the KFX 700?
How is the clutching? Does it stay in the power on hills?
I know it's heavier than the 700 and it's 4-wheel drive but does it need to be in 4-wheel drive to navigate some steeper dunes?
Has anyone put paddles on this thing? Rear or Front---or both?
Thanks for any answers you guys can give me.

Chili, I talked with a guy last weekend that had a stock one. While it was not a go anywhere unit, he was completely happy with it. About a month or so ago. My father in law raced one up SMU valley side. His Ds is a stage two, and he only beat the gade by 6 lengths! It had tripple buffs on the rear and mohawks on the front. I dont know what else was done.
I dont use four wheel drive in the Rhino for duning, so I am sure he will not have to use it on the gade either. As with anything CVT driven. Clutching will make or brake the machine.
