review of the new 2007 JetMoto 110 ??
#1
Hello,
I am new here but have been actively lurking for about a month.
I have searched the forums quite a bit and have seen a lot of people buying the JetMoto 150's, 200s, and 250s but not too much about the 110.
I am interested in comparing the reliability and design of the 2007 JetMoto 110 to a Kamuza Baby Falcon 110.
I Reliability comparison:
There seems to be a belief that JetMoto makes a better ATV then Kazuma but
the only Jetmoto 110 information I have seen is a little disturbing... front brackets which mount to the A-arms that snap causing young rides to flip over the ATV.
Also there seems to be a problem with other JetMoto models with the front end tie rod linkages which are wearing out quickly. Not sure if this is common problem which extends to the 110 as well. I haven't notices any major safety or reliablity issues with the Kamazu other then performing regular maintence and proper initial setup. Any comments?
Should I expect more, less or about the same about of regular maintences and "bolt" inspection with the JetMoto 110 compared to the Kamazu Baby Falcon 110?
2. Design comparison
From the photos I have seen, the JetMoto 110 seems to have a wider front track then the Kamazu Baby Falcon 110 and I am told it shares the same chassis as its bigger siblings JetMoto 125, 150? Does also have a narrower rear track compared to the front like the 150? If so, is JetMoto suppling rear spacers free of charge? Comments?
How much suspension travel is available in the front and rear? Does it share the same suspension quality of the JetMoto 150? How does it compare to the Baby Falcon 110 in this regards?
How does the ground clearance compare between the two machines?
How do the brakes feel on the JetMoto 110 vs the Baby Falcon 110? Easy for a youngers to engage, I can't tell.. is there a foot brake pedal or just hand brakes?
Thanks in advanced

oh.. forgot one other concern. For some reason it doesn't feel like the JetMoto 90 and 110 are fully supported products. I go to the JetMoto USA web page and there is absolutely no mention of the two models. Not many people seems to discuss it on the forum and when they do I see scarey stuff like people flipping over on the 110 due to weak front end A-Arm brackets. Is the 110 and the 90 being held back for some reason? Should I be concerned. I am perfectly happy waiting another year or two for all "safety" problems to be worked out or going with the Baby Falcon 110 if its a better product. Comments?

Im not sure if the guy with the 110 with front end problems is talking about the Jetmoto 110 or the little kids quads 110 that Jetmoto sells. The little mini 110 quads are not made in the Jetmoto factory.

Well I do think you are talking about a post in the kids quads section about the mini 110, not the full size 110. So I don't think you have anything to worry about there. The full size 110 does not have the little A-Arm brackets.

MWQ,
from what I can tell he WAS talking about the JetMoto 110 and certainly people are having problems with the tie rod fronts end from what I can tell. Of course, I was hoping for a positive confirmation or deny by John of Raceway in this thread.. I haven't gotten that yet.
BTW, seems like the Raceway webpage ATV quads are broken down into three sections. If you move your mouse over the "ATV" button a drop down list appears and lists three sections in RED bold font. "KAMAZU ATVs", "KID ATVs", and "JETMOTO ATVs". It is this middle section, that John refers to as "imported by JetMoto" quads. Which is only to say that JetMoto buys then from a chinese supplier and brings then into the US for sales. To me it appears to be all former SUNL models with the SUNL labels removed. This would be
XL90 ATV
Mini 90 ATV
Deluxe 100 ATV
Youth Renagade ATV
Utility 100 ATV
MS 110 ATV
All above I think are former SUNL. Someone correct me if I am wrong. But I dont want to get off subject.. JetMoto 110 is my interest right now ;-)

As far as the tie rods I don't have much of a problem. About a year ago there was much more of a problem. But again things have been holding up very good on all of the 2007 units. As far as the mini units listed on our site yes they are imported for us from Jetmoto USA. They are not made in the Jetmoto factory but we trust Jetmoto and the amount of time they spend over seas. Jetmoto has found a factory for us that builds the smaller units for us. We have been very happy with the products for the price. Much better then any of the Sunl units.
