Default Trail Boss 250 advice

Hey,
I've got an 1987 Polaris Trail Boss 250cc 2 wheel drive and have a few things I want to find out. First is I would like to get some more power for pulling stuff and so I don't get stuck. I was also wanting bigger grippier tires on the back (farly cheap please) and I was wondering what kind to get and also if there is any point in putting grippier tires on the front because it is only 2 wheel drive. I would like more suspension travel so advice about how to do that or what to buy to get that would be appreciated. And also what would you recomend for a winch. If you have any advice or any more suggestions about other upgrades it would be greatly appreciated. Thank-You Very Much.

Default Trail Boss 250 advice

Welcome to the forums Maxxis.

For the power, I'd contact Rick at Ritter Cycle. You'll have to reach him by phone, he just gets too busy to answer the emails.

He can tell what you'll need to match the style of riding you plan to do.

First class guy, and the best customer service out there.

Clutch kit works pretty good on these machines, also get the stryker tires from walmart work real well on the 250s, had them on my trail boss and now on my trailblazer.
