Hi guys.

I have a 00 450 es also with a shift problem similar to the post from nightmare4u.
However mine will shift flawlessly for a ride and then the next time it will lock in gear showing - - on the L.E.D. gear indicator.
If I shut it off and rock the bike that will sometimes cure the problem, other times I have to let it sit for awhile.

I took it in to the shop this spring and they said it was a battery problem, however that didn't fix it.
I've heard that there is a esp sensor on the front of the block but I'm noy sure where to look for that and maybe that's the motor referred to in the other post.
