Default 2001 Sportsman 500

What kind of oil, and where should the level be once you unscrew the allen screw....?

I would use polaris premium hub oil. I believe you filll it up until it reaches the bottom of the threads.

That's the way we do it in our rigs. Not saying it's the same thing, but I'd say it's the same concept. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

The front hubs use either the Polaris brand hub fluid or you can use F-type transmission fluid.... remove the allen screws,drain the fluid,turn the opening to 4 or 8 o'clock position and fill till fluid just runs out.(i fill mine upright & then turn them to the proper position and let the excess drain out).
Don't know what you mean by rear hubs.....There's no fluid in there,just sealed bearings.
