A few weeks ago I posted about my 07 420ES with 265 miles at the time that the
ES was malfunctioning.

If I was applying either brake I couldnt down shift , but otherwise it was functioning normally.

The problem went away so I just let it go for the time being.

Today I rode about 15 more miles and it happened again ,and it got the point where it didnt shift at all ,but the neautral light blinked I believe 5 times slowly with 2 fast blinks.
It may have only been 4 slow blinks and 2 fast, but im really not sure.

After I counted the blinks the best I could I shut it off ,and restarted ,and everything is normal for now ,but im sure it will happen again.

Im going to try ,and get it to the dealer tommorw.
Any idea what this might be?
Do they have a way to pull a code if it may have stored one?

iv run into this alot (no one ans about the 420) most likly cause it is so new [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] sorry bro. . .take it to the dealer.

actually, gimpster helped me with mine a while back. . .good fella. I ordered the service manual for it but it wont be here for a few more days. maybe send him a pm

 

I have a appointment to drop it off at the deler on the 19th.
They have so many others in front of me that they coulndt take it right now.
