Duct-tape over it or take the led out. lol... just could not resist - the devil made me do it...
Is the whole face flashing or just a section? A little more detail, and maybe someone can pinpoint the problem... could be a loose wire or something. I guess I don't need to remind you that the warranty will take care of it.
If it were me I would start chasing the wires with a volt/ohm meter.
