I have been doing research and reading reviews on this bike(400ex) for a month or so now, and i have decided i want this over the z400, is there n e thing i should be warned about or reason not to buy it before i do, or is it a good quad, i am buying it brand new, 2007 model!

 

Great handling, well designed, dead solid reliable machine! Mine is an 00, and except for replacing the usual intems like chains and sprockets, all I have ever had to do to it in 8 years is replace the rear bearings and carrier...and for the most part that was my fault anyway.

ya those bearing carriers are no good, everyone i know has had to replace the whole carrier. Lonestar makes a nice 4 beairng carrier fr them i think

 

I bought a used 2002 for my son. That thing was bulletproof. If he didn't kill it nobody can. He did hit the barn with it one time and bent an a-arm but that was it.

It's not as fast any of the 450s but it will run for a long time. One of the things I really liked was the way it stays flat in the turns. Good choice for a long-term ride!

 

sweeet, yeh i thinkin 400ex is what all get now i have to sell my warrior!
