New polaris?
#1
Just let me start with i love the ride on my sportsman 450
but the ecm went out at 540 mile 1 year old. polaris knows about this fault and upgraded the replacement but wont cover the part. my dealer has replaced alot of these and said to call polaris. If you buy a polaris 450 and up make sure it doesnt have the ECM part # 4011110 it is chinese cr@p. Get a warrenty on the ECM that out lasts the 6 months on the Wheeler or have them replace at no cost now before you buy. Any questions just post

news flash, if it doesnt pose a fire hazard or a safety issue i doubt they'll recall them. cost too much money and we alll know mfg. dont like to spend money. lol.

Safety issue? I live in Alaska we like to go riding in some pretty remote areas. Not minnesota in some farmers field.I should invite some polaris big wigs up and take them out and drop them off in the bush. Dont worry i will give them a bell to ring so a bear doesnt eat them.

i agree that they should last longer then what you guys have had for milage by far. my point is unless it poses a health risk to the ride (besides being strandard in the middle of no where) they wont recall it and cost them money. even though they should. the bigger companies become i swear the less they care.
