Default Greetings from Iraq ;)

Hey all, been a while since my last post but i have been in Iraq for a bit over a year now. I am interested in the 800 Outlander LTD for a second bike to ride with the wife. Been surfing the forum to try and catch up but cannot seem to find much on this one. On Can Am's website it is showing a MSRP for about 12k, any one have some clues as what they are really letting them go for? 12k seems rather steep, but i know they are rather loaded up as well.

Thanks all,

Kenny

Hello back!

I know of one guy who took a part time job for a year so he could get that hot looking Ltd.

He rode it a couple of times, was power-washing under the fenders, and the paint started flaking off. He says he was taking it easy with the power sprayer. The rocks hit the underside of the fenders, breaks the paint integrity and bond, and off she comes.

Man he was po'd. Raised cain with BRP, didn't do any good, like we all told him it wouldn't. Took a year out of his life to pay for a disappointment.

He's still got the best quad on the planet, and he can replace the plastic with red or yellow (not green!, it scratches, looks white after awhile).

Just my two centavos (better get used to centavos )

Im sure if that guy wanted to, He could order the LTD plastics somewhere online. Even if it was from Can Am directly, plastic replacements are out there.

I was looking at one of the LTD's on ebay the other day. If you want to save a few grand and don't mind a scratch or two...

Option 1
Option 2

A used one pops up from time to time.
Good luck, and be safe over there.

Thanks for all the help guys. Sucks to hear that they still haven't figured out how to make bulletproof plastic....LOL So it looks like i will still be paying close to around the 12k asking for it. I would buy a used one, but i kind of like being the one to put the first scratch on it

Anyhow, being over here is nice for the acct, but it does come at a price. Hope to be done soon. But i will never get done if i cant keep from buying all these nice toys.

Thanks all.
