Earlier I posted I was having 2nd thoughts about the 400ex, well, you all have convinced me to go ahead and get it! I am still leary of the thoughts of it not starting, but I guess you have pros and cons with any bike. This bike seems to have alot more pros than cons.
One question I have is this. Some 400ex owners say if the bike won't start in the cold to put a heater next to it, but what if you go on a trip with your buddies and you don't have access to a heater? Or if you go for a ride and take a break and then it won't start because of the cold? Looking for some suggestions in that situation.

 

i'm pretty sure if you warm it up good before hand it should start up easy when you go to start it after riding for a while
