Is there anyway that i can rewire my 300ex's reverse so i don't have to push down that red button to pull in that black thing so i could just put it in nuetral, pull in the clutch, and pull up the lever?

 

Follow the cable down to where it goes into the engine. Observe what happens when you push the button and pull the clutch in. Ps not the clutch cable try it a couple of time without pushing the button to be sure. Disconnect the reverse cabl and wire it to be engauged all the time. problem solved.
